All bowls and vases pictured on this site are of my own design. Pieces vary in types of wood and construction style. Some pieces are turned from a single piece of wood and some are laminated with many pieces for color or texture. I do not use paint or stain on any pieces. I use primarily lacquer or Teak Oil for my finish. Some of the types of wood I use are: Cocobolo, Bloodwood, Purpleheart, East Indian Rosewood, Maple, Walnut, Padauk, Ebony and African Blackwood. I use both exotic and domestic species.

I also use crushed stone as an inlay on some pieces. The stone types I use are: Azurite, Malachite, Pink Coral, Chrysocolla and Turquoise. Black Jet is used also but not pictured.
